Recently, urbanization has come into sight as a heated topic, which successfully attracts great attention of the general public. As is shown by the graph above, the degree of urbanization in China has increased from 19.39% in 1980 to 60.50% in 2019. And I hold the view that urbanization exerts great influence on both individual development and China’s economic growth.

In theory, many factors may account for my consideration, but the following two are crucial. To begin with, increasing degree of urbanization will bring a positive impact on our development. In detail, urbanization produces more job opportunities, which means people are more likely to find a satisfying job and have more development opportunities. In addition, urbanization largely promotes the speed of economic growth. To be specific, more cities are sure to result in more companies and more economic gain, undoubtedly leading to national economic growth.

According to all the analysis above, it is advisable for us all to do our best to increase the degree of urbanization. Only in this way can we embrace a bright future.
